About Me

I graduated cum laude from the University of San Francisco in 1998 with a Bachelor of Art degree in Exercise and Sports Science. I received my Master of Physical Therapy degree from Mount St. Mary’s College in Los Angeles in 2001. I have over 21 years of clinical experience and have worked in a variety of orthopedic practices.

In 2008, I completed the yearlong course for Australian Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy and obtained my specialization as a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist. I obtained additional specializations as an APTA Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2011 and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist in 2016.

I was a Senior Physical Therapist for the Stanford Outpatient Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy department where I was recognized as an Advanced Clinician. I was a faculty instructor and primary mentor for the Stanford Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency program, assisted physicians with patient care during clinic hours, and was involved with coordination and evaluation for a Stanford wellness program for runners.

I currently work for the Kaiser Permanente Sports Medicine Center in San Francisco, California where I lead the development of their ACL and sports rehabilitation programs. I also travel around the country teaching continuing education courses for health care professionals on various sports rehabilitation topics.
