About Me

My name is Karen Manitsas. I was born and raised in the State of Maine and attended the University of Southern Maine where I completed a BA in Communication/Media Arts and an MS in Education. I moved to California in 2002 to attend SMU's PA program and graduated in 2004. I work at Stanford Health Care in the Occupational Medicine department and joined the SMU team in 2015 as an Assistant Clinical Coordinator. I completed a Doctorate in Health Professions Education from Logan University in 2019. I live in San Mateo with my husband Steve and two daughters, Noelle age 10 and Vivienne age 7.
