About Me

I have over twenty years experience in the Emergency Department as an RN. I have also worked in the PACU, and flew 5 years as an Aeroevacuation RN in the Air Force. I served as the Chief Nurse of the reserve medical clinic at Beale AFB. I also work part time as an FNP at Sutter walk in clinics. I have been teaching in the clinical setting at Sutter Roseville and Sacramento as well as Mercy San Juan for the last two years.

Education

I earned a Master of Science in Nursing/ FNP-C degree in 2013 from SMU. I earned my BSN from CSU Sacramento in 1997. I also earned an AA degree in Allied health Science in 1995 from Community College of the Air Force. 

Teaching Interests

I teach medical, Surgical and Critical Care Nursing. 

Scholarly Interests

I am interested in Lifestyle medicine.
