About Me

I am a native of the Pacific Northwest (Go Ducks!) and have lived in the Sacramento region for the past 20+ years. I married my high school sweetheart, David, and we have one son, Casper, two English Springer Spaniels, Thatcher and Paisley, and one cat, Freya. We enjoy getting outside to hike, taking care of our garden, and seeing the latest movies.

Professionally, when not working at SMU, I work in Chronic and Palliative Care seeing my patients in their home which I really enjoy as it allows me to see them from a holistic standpoint and provide interventions that may not be apparent when seeing them in a clinic environment

Education

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration concentrating in Finance, Risk Management, and Insurance from CSU Sacramento, a Master in Science in Health Psychology from Grand Canyon University, and a Master Physician Assistant from Samuel Merritt University
