About Me

I have been a physical therapist for 19 years. I graduated from Samuel Merritt in 2004 and started working at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center.  There I was able to pursue many of my professional interests which included presenting on a national level and have participated in development and implementation of several programs within the hospital system.

I graduated from UC Davis in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology.
I graduated from Samuel Merritt College in 2004 with a Masters in Physical Therapy.

Teaching Interests

I enjoy helping students see the big picture by showing them how integral physical therapy is in regards to patient's plan of care, quality of life and as an important member of the interdisciplinary team.

Scholarly Interests

Current research project involves quality of life improvement in patients with spinal cord injuries through a community adaptive fitness program.
