I have worked in healthcare as an RN, NP and Educator for 43 years. I am married, live on the Carquinez Strait, hike a lot with my dogs and intrepid cats.
I entered nursing for my RN via an ADN program in the late 70's; went on to obtain my BSN in the 80's, my MSN in the 90's as well as my NP certification in Adult Gero. I obtained my doctorate in Education in 2012.
