Launched in 2012, Giving Tuesday has grown into a global movement centered on generosity and giving back to our communities. That spirit is closely connected to Samuel Merritt University's mission. Through the University's community and global engagement efforts, SMU reaches more than 7,000 people annually while preparing healthcare professionals to help reduce health disparities.
