What they teach
I mentor DNP learners completing projects related to nursing leadership, adolescent health, substance use disorders and integrated behavioral health in primary care.
Clinical practice area
I am a dual certified family and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. My clinical practice expertise is in adolescent health, the prevention and management of substance use disorders, and integrated behavioral health in primary care.
Community involvement
As a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners I am engaged in national policy leadership for nursing practice and education.
Notable affiliations
In addition to national policy work, I work to advance state level nursing practice and education through the California Association for Nurse Practitioners and the Association of California Nurse Leaders.
