About Me

I am a practicing physical therapist in the area of neurologic and geriatric physical therapy. I primarily work in the outpatient setting, but also have experience in acute care as well. In addition to serving as adjunct faculty at Samuel Merritt University, I work full time in the clinic at Kaiser Santa Clara. Currently, I work with patients with a wide variety of neurologic conditions, such as Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Parkinson's Disease and Parkinson's Plus Syndromes, Multiple Sclerosis, Concussion, and Vestibular disorders in addition to working with the frail older adults. I also teach the Parkinson's Exercise Exercise Group, Conditioning Exercise Group, Parkinson's Exercise as Medicine Class, and cover the Stroke Support Group and Advanced Balance Exercise Group on occasion. I also work on the Neuro Regional Redesign Team and Vestibular Committee to standardize and improve the care within the Northern California Region. My goal is to promote healthy living and especially healthy aging. When I am not in clinic, I enjoy reading, running, playing basketball, and spending time with my dog.

I earned my Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Southern California. I completed the geriatric physical therapy residency at Stanford Health Care. I am a board certified Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy. I also am a Parkinson's Wellness Recovery (PWR!) trained therapist and a Certified Exercise Expert for Aging Adults (CEEAA). I have completed the Vestibular Rehabilitation competency course and am a Credentialed Clinical Instructor.
