About Me
As a Simulation Educator at Samuel Merritt University, I bring my clinical expertise and healthcare knowledge into the classroom to create realistic, high-impact learning experiences. My passion lies in using simulation as an innovative educational tool to strengthen critical thinking, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills among nursing students. I am dedicated to fostering a safe and supportive environment where learners can grow through practice, reflection, and feedback. By integrating best practices and evidence-based teaching strategies, I aim to prepare future nurses to deliver safe, high-quality patient care while advancing a culture of continuous improvement in healthcare education.
Education
I hold a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Leadership and Management from Western Governors University (2018) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Fresno (2011).
