About Me

I have lived on the West Coast for 25 years. I grew up in the northeast and New England. I have many teachers and nurses in my family, so teaching nursing is something I have wanted to do for many years. My nursing experience is primarily in intermediate care (medical step down), emergency, and post-anesthesia care.

Education

Education

I graduated from the University of Southern Nevada (now Roseman University of Health Sciences) in 2010 where I was  the class treasurer and member of the Student Nurses Association. I graduated with an MSN in Education and Leadership from the California State University, Sacramento in 2019 where I wrote my comprehensive examination on universal nasal decolonization to prevent surgical site infections in a perioperative department.
