About Me
Dr. Yandell is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Approved Supervisor, and higher education leader with more than 15 years of experience spanning clinical practice, integrated behavioral health, and academic administration. His work has focused on developing innovative, systems-oriented programs that enhance student success, strengthen professional training, and improve organizational effectiveness. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated expertise in program development, clinical education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and community engagement, helping organizations build sustainable models that support both learners and the populations they serve.
Dr. Yandell has held leadership roles across higher education and healthcare settings, including serving as Director of the Marriage and Family Therapy Clinic at Oklahoma State University, directing integrated behavioral health programs, and providing leadership within sexual health and fertility care settings. He most recently served as Chair of the Oklahoma Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, where he advanced professional advocacy and workforce development initiatives. Dr. Yandell earned a Master of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Oklahoma State University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Marriage and Family Therapy with a concentration in Systemic Studies from the University of Louisiana Monroe. His scholarship and leadership are grounded in systems theory, interdisciplinary collaboration, and a commitment to developing programs that foster educational excellence, professional growth, and meaningful community impact.
