Job Description:
The El Corazon de la Salud program is an afterschool health careers club for underrepresented high school students to learn about health and healthcare careers. This program is overseen by the SMU Center for Community Engagement & Ethnic Health Institute in collaboration with the College of Nursing.
Responsibilities:
Co-lead monthly after school club programs for high school students in Sacramento. The program will be held the 3rd Wednesday of Every Month beginning October 18th from 3:30-5 p.m.
Work with SMU Faculty and Staff to develop curriculum for the program.
Work with partners like Sutter Health for collaborative workshops and activities.
Help plan end of year culmination activity for club participants.
