Our office serves the University community in making sound financial decisions base on professional and reliable financial information. We do this by ensuring the financial integrity and security of the institution by safeguarding its assets and by adhering to generally accepted accounting principles and government regulations.

For Students

Our Business Office provides students with detailed financial statements and information to assist them and their parents in meeting their obligations to the University. We also provide personalized financial counseling by designing plans and apprising students of financial aid and scholarships options to help them pay for their education.

For Faculty and Staff

The Finance Office maintains the financial records for the University, including general ledger accounting, capital and project expenditures, fixed asset accounting, restricted fund accounting, tax reporting, as well as government reporting, and audit requirements.

  • Our recruiters will always contact you from an @samuelmerritt.edu email address. We do not use personal email accounts.
  • We will never ask for payment, banking information, or personal identification documents as part of the hiring process.
